Chateauneuf du Pape - Wines - Domaine André Brunel - Les Cailloux

Les Cailloux 1989 - Wine Avocate - Joe Czerwinski : 92/100

Wine Advocate - Robert Parker

Although recognizably in decline, the Brunels' 1989 Chateauneuf du Pape remains a delight to drink. It's bricking in hue, with dusty aromas and scents of dried cherries, but it's still full-bodied and creamy in texture, with delicate notes of black tea, potpourri and licorice on the expansive finish.
