In 2003 'it was 28, even 29 degrees in the night, so the grapes didn't have time to cool down,' says Fabrice Brunel. This is a little bit cloudy in the glass and has a very evolved nose, the fruit is quite jammy and very autumnal, with aromas of decayed leaves, leaf mulch. Very full-bodied, with some cassis fruit on the palate still. Juicy, a bit heavy, but not totally over the hill. It's complex, if not terribly fresh.
